The one I now use and recommend is much easier to do and has better results than those listed in past years. This recipe also works with other nuts (we sometimes make almonds this way), but pecans are hard to beat.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/sandonspaldingstaging.com\/DirtDr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Season-nuts-crop.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/sandonspaldingstaging.com\/DirtDr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Crispy_Pecans_setup_skillet-crop.jpg\"><br \/>\nSeason the nuts prior to roasting<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/sandonspaldingstaging.com\/DirtDr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Crispy_pecan_cooking-setup.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/sandonspaldingstaging.com\/DirtDr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Crispy_pecans-skillet-butter.jpeg\"><br \/>\nFor the best outcome use good quality ingredients<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a04 cups of pecan halves<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a03 Tbs butter<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a03 Tbs Worcestershire-type sauce. My favorite is Organic Coco Aminos<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a01 tsp sea salt<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a01 tsp powdered cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00bc tsp garlic powder<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00bc tsp cayenne powder<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Dash of Tabasco (optional)\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/sandonspaldingstaging.com\/DirtDr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Crispy-Pecans-plus-sauce.jpg\"><br \/>\nA favorite ingredient in the pecan seasoning is the Coco Aminos Marinade.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Melt butter in a heavy skillet<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Add the amendments and stir in thoroughly<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Add pecans and stir thoroughly<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Spread nuts on a stainless steel baking sheet or tray<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Coating the sheet with butter or other oil is unnecessary.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Turning the pecans occasionally is helpful<\/p>\n<p>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Bake in oven at 150 &#8211; 170 degrees for 4-5 hours (+ or \u2013) till pecans are crispy\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/sandonspaldingstaging.com\/DirtDr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Logan_Helping_Crispy_Pecans_IMG_7445.jpeg\">\u00a0<br \/>\nLogan helping with this year&#8217;s batch of Crispy Pecans<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Store the finished product in glass and enjoy a delicious and healthy treat often. These improved nuts not only taste better but are also more digestible and better for you.
